Bruce J. Matthews, P.E., S.E.C.B.

Bruce received his undergraduate degree and his Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Villanova University, and has been practicing engineering since 1977. Bruce began his career working for a leading manufacturer of material handling storage equipment, and moved to a manufacturer of mezzanines and structural rack systems. Bruce moved to the consulting business in 2002 when he was hired on at Gary K. Munkelt & Associates. Considered an expert in the field of metal buidlings, mezzanine and rack storage, he has worked on projects for many well-known national storage and material handling companies such as Home Depot, Iron Mountain, FedEX, and UPS. Because of Bruce's previous experience on the supply side of the business, he brings a wealth of practica 'real world' knowledge to his designs. A navy veteran, when not working Bruce likes to tincker with cars and read action & adventure novels. A fan of all things Asian, Bruce also meticulously cares for a forest of bonsai trees.
